Iron-On Patches

All Iron-on patches can be ironed onto clothing and other fabrics like backpacks, jackets, caps, and even shoes. With your fabric patch order, you’ll receive a helpful ironing guide. This guide outlines simple steps for attaching your patches to ensure long-lasting durability.

Reinforcing with a Few Stitches

The Iron-on patches on this page are machine-embroidered using advanced digital techniques. Each patch is equipped with a heat-activated adhesive backing designed for textiles.Depending on the fabric and usage, it may be necessary to reinforce the patch with a few stitches. Factors such as the fabric composition and how frequently the patch is washed can affect the adhesion.

Washing Instructions

Each embroidered patch can contain thousands of stitches in one or multiple colours, resulting in detailed designs with striking colour variations. Our patches hold up well in machine washes, and we recommend following the care instructions of the garment. Fabric softeners are not recommended. To minimize wear during washing, turn the garment inside out. Air drying is preferred, and tumble drying should be avoided.

Materials

Most of our Iron-on patches are made from polyester, while some are made from cotton. The iron-on backing consists of heat-activated adhesive specifically designed for textiles.

Different Types of Iron-On Fabric Patches

Today, we offer a wide selection of embroidered fabric patches. Embroidery is a craft where patterns are created using needle and thread on soft materials like felt. In the commercial textile industry, these embroidered patches are primarily made using machines. At first glance, it may seem like all our patches are made using the same technique, but there are notable differences. Some patches are embroidered on felt, while others use twill. Twill is a stiffer material, ideal for fully embroidered designs, while felt works best for outlining and smaller details.
