When ordering a bracelet, piece of wrist jewellery or watch online, you often need to know your wrist circumference. With a bracelet sizer, you can measure your wrist at home and get a clear measurement to use when choosing the right size.
Unlike an ordinary tape measure, the bracelet sizer can be adjusted and held at a particular circumference. This allows you to measure your wrist and try how different sizes feel before making your choice.
The bracelet sizer is made from soft plastic. The scale is marked in whole and half centimetres and measures from 15 to 25.5 cm.
- Feed the narrow end through the slider so that the bracelet sizer forms a circle with the numbers facing outwards.
- Place the sizer around your wrist where the bracelet or watch will sit.
- Tighten it until it rests close to the skin without pinching.
- Read the number indicated by the arrow on the slider.
- To try a particular size, adjust the sizer until the arrow points to the required measurement. You can then feel how that size fits around your wrist.
Always compare your wrist measurement with the size guide for the watch or piece of jewellery you wish to buy. Some retailers provide a recommended wrist circumference, while others state the product’s total length.
