Description

A practical insect mesh that can be cut and adapted to suit where it is needed. The mesh helps keep mosquitoes and other insects out while allowing air to pass through.

Use it for windows at home or in a caravan, tent openings and smaller raised beds. The 130 × 160 cm sheet also gives you scope for your own solutions wherever a fine insect mesh is needed.

A roll of self-adhesive hook-and-loop tape is included. It can be used to attach the mesh around a window frame or another suitable opening.

Size and contents

  • 1 white insect mesh: 130 × 160 cm
  • 1 roll of self-adhesive hook-and-loop tape
  • Measure the opening and cut the mesh to the required size.
  • Clean the surface where the tape will be attached and allow it to dry.
  • Attach the self-adhesive hook-and-loop tape around the opening.
  • Press the insect mesh firmly against the tape.

Do not pull the mesh tighter than necessary. Fit it flat with a little give – this reduces strain on the tape and helps the openings retain their shape.

When using the mesh over plants, make sure the edges are securely closed and leave enough room for growth. Bear in mind that the mesh also keeps pollinating insects out. Open or remove it during flowering if the plants depend on insect pollination.
