Tongue pads for loose-fitting shoes – 6 self-adhesive pads

Tongue pads can be useful when:

• Shoes feel loose across the top of the foot
• The foot slides forwards inside the shoe
• The heel lifts while walking
• You have a low instep and need to fill excess space
• The shoe tongue feels hard or causes rubbing

The product is suitable for shoes with a tongue that has enough surface area for the pad.

1. First check where the pad should sit beneath the shoe tongue.
2. Clean the surface and allow it to dry completely.
3. Trim the felt if the pad is too large.
4. Remove the backing from the self-adhesive side.
5. Attach the pad beneath the shoe tongue.
6. Press the entire pad firmly against the material.

Try the shoe on after fitting and check that it feels comfortable.

Each tongue pad measures approximately 85 × 70 × 4 mm.

If a full pad fills too much space, it can be trimmed to a smaller size. The shape can also be adjusted to suit the shoe tongue and the area requiring additional padding.

Tongue pads mainly fill space above the foot. If the entire shoe is significantly too large, an insole or another shoe insert may also be required.

Adhesion may vary depending on the material, texture and finish of the shoe tongue. The surface must be clean and dry before fitting.

Position the pad carefully the first time, as repeatedly removing and repositioning it may reduce adhesion.
