Textile Stain Away is a fabric stain remover that helps lift pigment-based stains, such as red wine, berries, blood, tea and coffee. It is suitable for sofas, armchairs and other upholstery fabrics that can be cleaned with water. It can also be used on water-washable clothing and other textiles.
The compact bottle contains 25 ml and takes up hardly any room in the cleaning cupboard. Apply the foam directly to the stain and work it in gently with a clean polyether sponge.
- Test the product on a small, preferably hidden area to check that the fabric is colourfast.
- Vacuum the fabric thoroughly to remove loose dirt.
- Dispense a layer of foam directly onto the stain.
- Work gently with a clean polyether sponge, moving from the outside edges towards the centre. Dab rather than rubbing.
- Finish by applying a little more foam to the stain.
- Leave the foam in place and allow the fabric to air dry completely. Repeat the treatment if the stain has not disappeared.
- If necessary, clean the treated area afterwards with Textile Cleaner or machine wash the fabric where possible.
Do not use the product on fabrics that cannot be washed with water. Always test it on a small, hidden area first to check for possible colour transfer. Disposable gloves are recommended during use.
Warning: Causes serious eye irritation. Keep out of reach of children. In case of eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, seek medical attention.
