Sleeve cuffs for jumpers and jackets

The cuffs are sold as a pair, allowing you to replace both sleeve ends for an even and consistent finish.

The sleeve cuffs are suitable for:

• Replacing worn or damaged cuffs
• Refreshing the sleeve ends of a jumper or jacket
• Replacing cuffs that have lost their shape
• Sewing your own jumpers, jackets and other garments
• Creating new sleeve ends in a matching or contrasting colour

They can be used for many different types of garments, provided the size and material suit the sleeve in question.

1. Carefully unpick the old cuff from the sleeve.
2. Remove loose threads and neaten the edge of the sleeve.
3. Position the new cuff against the sleeve opening.
4. Distribute the stretch evenly around the sleeve.
5. Pin or tack the cuff in place before sewing.
6. Sew it in place using a stitch that can move with the stretch of the material.

Fold and fit the cuff according to the construction of the garment and the finish you want.

Measure the existing cuff and sleeve opening before you begin. The fit is also affected by the sleeve circumference, the thickness of the fabric and how much the material needs to stretch during fitting.

Colours may appear slightly different on different screens. Choose the shade that best matches the garment or use a contrasting colour to give it a new look.

Wash the garment at no more than 30 °C after the cuffs have been sewn in place.
