Would you like to temporarily prevent a mobile phone or other electronic device from communicating wirelessly? This Faraday pouch blocks mobile networks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and prevents the device from receiving GPS signals when it is fully inside the signal-blocking main compartment and the opening is securely closed.
The pouch can be used when you want to put the family’s mobile phones away during dinner, enjoy some time without incoming calls and notifications or store electronic equipment without wireless contact with the outside world.
Its robust construction and hook-and-loop closure make the pouch easy to open and close. There is also a transparent pocket on the outside for a label or smaller items. Any electronics that need to be shielded from signals must be placed in the signal-blocking main compartment.
Choose the right size
- Small: 12 × 20 cm
- Medium: 25 × 28 cm
- Large: 35 × 45 cm
The small size is suitable for a mobile phone, for example. The medium size provides space for a larger device or several smaller devices, while the large size can be used for tablets and certain laptops.
The device needs to be smaller than the stated dimensions of the pouch so that it fits completely inside the closure. Please check the dimensions of larger tablets and laptops before purchasing.
- We recommend putting the phone in flight mode or switching it off.
- Place the device fully inside the signal-blocking main compartment.
- Close the opening securely using the hook-and-loop fastening.
- When you remove the device, it can reconnect to available networks.
To test the pouch, leave the phone switched on, close the pouch securely and then try calling the phone from another device.
The pouch blocks signals even when the phone is switched on. However, we recommend putting the phone in flight mode or switching it off first. When a switched-on phone cannot find a network, it may continue searching for a signal, which can drain the battery more quickly.
The pouch does not switch off the device. Alarms, timers and other functions that do not require a wireless connection may therefore continue to work.
For the signal blocking to work, the device must be fully inside the signal-blocking main compartment and the opening must be securely closed. The transparent outer pocket is intended for storage only and does not block signals.

Good to know I have this. When I next go to a crowded area I will use this, especially now when it’s so busy.
