Practical magnetic fasteners for adding an easy opening and closure to clothes, bags, pockets and other lightweight fabrics.
The magnets are enclosed in plastic casings with ready-made sewing holes, making them simple to attach by hand. They provide a good magnetic hold but are primarily recommended for lighter materials.
Position the two parts of the fastener opposite one another where you want the opening to close.
Sew the plastic casings in place through the ready-made holes. Check the position before completing the stitching so that the magnets meet correctly and the fabric lies as intended.
These magnetic fasteners are primarily recommended for lightweight fabrics. The magnetic hold may be insufficient on very thick, stiff or heavy materials.
