When a stretchy material moves, the repair needs to move with it. These stretch patches are flexible and self-adhesive, helping you cover small holes and tears without sewing.
The patches are suitable for stretchy and flexible fabrics. They are particularly useful for mittens, gloves, sportswear and shoes that wear at the sides. They can also be used on outdoor cushions and other textile surfaces.
You receive eight pre-cut patches in different shapes and sizes. The matt surface gives the repair a non-shiny finish, and the patches can be trimmed down if needed.
Ideal for
- Mittens and gloves: Cover small holes and worn areas without sewing.
- Shoes: Repair minor damage on textile sides and other areas exposed to wear.
- Stretch garments: Suitable for jogging bottoms, sportswear and other stretchy fabrics. For garments that will be washed regularly, we primarily recommend our iron-on stretch patches, as the bond is more predictable. The self-adhesive patches can also work well, but washing results vary more between different materials.
- Outdoor cushions: Cover small holes and tears in stretchy textile surfaces.
- Make sure the surface is as clean and dry as possible.
- Choose a patch that covers the hole or tear. The patch can be trimmed down if needed.
- Peel back a small part of the protective backing without touching the adhesive.
- Position the patch over the damaged area and gradually remove the backing as you attach it to the material.
- Use a spoon or similar object to rub firmly over the entire patch, helping it make good contact with the surface.
- Allow the repair to bond overnight before using the item.
How well the stretch patch adheres depends on factors including the surface, the position of the damage and how much movement, friction and washing the area experiences. Make sure the entire patch has good contact with the material and allow it to bond overnight.
On shoes, the patches work best on textile surfaces, such as areas where the side of the shoe has worn or become damaged. Results can vary between different materials and surface treatments.
In our tests, repaired items have been machine washed at 40°C. Results may vary depending on the material, position and how carefully the patch has been applied. Do not tumble dry after repairing.

Seems to work on the outdoor cushions on the patio.
Came off in the first wash. Completely useless.
Weak adhesive.
