These self-adhesive denim patches offer an easy way to cover a hole, reinforce a worn area or add a decorative detail – without immediately reaching for a needle and thread.
The patches are particularly suitable for bags, fabric shoppers, jackets, sofas, upholstery and other surfaces that are not machine-washed frequently. They are also useful for craft and creative projects where denim can become a visible part of the finished design.
The patches can be cut easily to the required size and shape. All four denim shades are included, allowing you to choose a colour that blends in or create a more visible repair.
They can also be used for a quick or temporary repair on jeans. As jeans are regularly exposed to movement, friction and machine washing, we recommend our iron-on denim patches when a more durable repair is required.
- Clean the area to be repaired and allow it to dry. The surface should be free from dirt, grease and waterproofing treatments.
- Cut out a suitably sized piece. Round off the corners where possible, as this helps prevent them from lifting.
- Peel away the backing paper gradually as you apply the patch.
- Press and rub the entire patch firmly into place, paying particular attention to the edges.
The back of a spoon can be used to apply firm, even pressure across the whole patch.

The patches adhere best to clean, dry and untreated surfaces. They are primarily intended for items and materials that are not machine-washed frequently or exposed to heavy stretching.
On jeans, the patch can be used as a quick or temporary repair. For a more durable result, add a few stitches around the edge.
For jeans and other garments that are worn and machine-washed regularly, we primarily recommend our iron-on denim patches.
