Description
Over time, wellington boots can become grey, dull and drier on the surface. Nokian Rubber Care helps restore their shine, maintain the rubber’s flexibility and give the boots a more cared-for appearance.
The conditioner is developed for rubber boots and is particularly suitable for wellingtons made from natural rubber. It also leaves a dirt-repellent finish, making the boots easier to keep looking fresh. The bottle contains 65 ml and has a built-in sponge applicator for simple, even application.
- Wipe away dust and loose dirt. If necessary, clean the boots with lukewarm soapy water and a soft sponge.
- Allow the boots to dry thoroughly at room temperature.
- Remove the cap and gently press the applicator sponge against the rubber to open the valve.
- Press the bottle carefully until a small amount of liquid reaches the sponge.
- Apply a thin, even layer over the surface.
- Allow the boots to dry at room temperature.
A grey or chalky film on natural rubber does not necessarily mean that the boots are damaged. Substances in the rubber compound can work their way to the surface over time, and treatment with rubber conditioner can help restore the appearance.
The product conditions the rubber but does not repair existing cracks or other damage. It is not intended for foam rubber or painted surfaces. Results may vary between different synthetic rubber compounds.
