Description
After a session on the ice, skate blades are often wet and vulnerable to knocks on the journey home. These soft blade covers provide practical protection while the terry cloth helps absorb any moisture left behind.
The covers are made from extra-thick terry cloth with a reinforced woven nylon underside. Their elasticated shape makes them easy to slip over the skate blades and just as easy to remove.
When not in use, the covers take up very little room and can stay in your skate bag ready for your next trip to the rink.
Choose the right size
Each set contains two covers – one for each skate.
The covers are available in three sizes. Measurements are taken with the cover fully stretched:
Small: 31 × 7 cm
Medium: 37 × 7 cm
Large: 43 × 7 cm
Measure the skate blade from its furthest point at the front to its furthest point at the back. Choose a size long enough to cover the entire blade.
Wipe the skate blades with a dry cloth before slipping on the covers. The terry cloth will then help absorb any moisture left behind during transport.
When you get home, remove the covers and allow both them and the skates to air-dry thoroughly.
These soft covers are designed for transport and storage. If you want to walk in your skates away from the ice, use hard skate guards instead.
