Suitcase Wheel Covers – Reduce Rattling

Does your suitcase make more noise than it should when rolling over tiles, tarmac or other hard surfaces? These soft silicone wheel covers fit around the wheels, creating gentler contact with the ground. This helps reduce both rolling noise and rattling.

The covers also help reduce wear on the suitcase’s original wheels. They are a simple way to make a well-used case roll a little more quietly and keep its wheels in better condition for longer.

The silicone rings are elastic and stretch over the rolling surface of the wheels. How easy they are to fit depends on the design of your suitcase and its wheels. On some cases, the covers can be fitted while the wheels remain attached. Other wheels may need to be removed before fitting.

Check the fit

The wheel covers are best suited to exposed wheels where you can reach the complete rolling surface and there is enough space around the wheel. They are not suitable for suitcases where the wheel sits tightly inside a wheel housing.

Each cover measures approximately 50 mm in diameter and 15 mm in width. Compare these measurements with the wheels on your suitcase and check the product photos before ordering.

Hook one section of the silicone ring over the wheel, then gradually work your way around it, much like fitting a small tyre. If the wheel can be removed from the suitcase easily, fitting the cover will often be simpler.
