Brew basket lid for Moccamaster – replacement part

A missing or damaged lid does not mean that the entire brew basket needs to be replaced. This replacement part allows you to replace the missing lid and continue using a brew basket that otherwise works perfectly well.

The lid sits directly on top of the brew basket and stays firmly in place while the coffee is brewing. It is not an original Moccamaster part, but has been carefully tested and approved by us for both fit and function.

While you’re taking care of your Moccamaster

Take the opportunity to clean the brew basket and the brewer’s removable lids by hand using warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid. Moccamaster recommends hand-washing, as dishwasher heat and detergents may affect plastic parts over time and shorten their lifespan.

If brewing starts taking longer than usual or the brewer begins to sound different, this may be a sign of limescale build-up. Moccamaster recommends cleaning after approximately every 20 brews and descaling no later than every 40 – more often in hard-water areas. Regular cleaning can improve the taste of your coffee and help the brewer last longer.
