Leather balm – All-purpose leather care

The leather balm can be used on smooth leather surfaces, including:

• Shoes and boots
• Belts and wristbands
• Gloves
• Bags, briefcases and card holders
• Saddles and other riding equipment made from smooth leather
• Sofas, armchairs and other leather furniture
• Other smooth leather products

Do not use the product on suede, nubuck or other rough and porous leather surfaces.

• Contains coconut fat, lanolin oil and beeswax
• Conditions and softens leather
• Helps restore colour and shine
• Provides protection against moisture and dirt
• Suitable for smooth leather in different colours

The balm is highly concentrated, so always begin with a small amount.

1. Remove loose dirt from the surface and allow the leather to dry.
2. Lightly run the sponge over the balm. A little goes a long way, so use only a small amount.
3. Apply a thin and even layer over the leather.
4. Work the balm into the surface using circular movements.
5. Allow it to absorb for approximately 3–5 minutes.
6. Wipe or buff if required using a soft, clean cloth.

After use, rinse the sponge in lukewarm soapy water and allow it to air-dry.

Always test the product first on a small, less visible area. Leather can react differently depending on its colouring, surface treatment and previous care.

Use the balm sparingly. Applying more does not automatically produce a better result and may leave the surface unnecessarily greasy or shiny. This is particularly important when treating leather furniture and other items used indoors.

Begin with a thin layer on a small test area. Allow the balm to absorb, then assess the feel and appearance before treating the rest of the surface. You can always apply a little more if needed.

The balm may make the colour of the leather appear darker or deeper, particularly on dry or light-coloured leather. This is normal when the leather is being conditioned.

Regular use on shoes and boots can help protect against drying out, moisture and visible salt marks.

Do not use the product on suede, nubuck or other non-smooth leather surfaces.
