Description
Have the pads inside your helmet become worn, loose or gone missing? This complete helmet padding kit makes it easy to replace old comfort pads and make the helmet softer and more comfortable to wear.
The pads attach to the inside of the helmet using the supplied self-adhesive hook-and-loop fasteners. The set includes different shapes for the top, sides, front and rear of the helmet, together with a soft pad for the chin strap.
- 18 small self-adhesive hook-and-loop fasteners
- 4 foam pads for the top of the helmet
- 1 foam pad for the rear
- 2 foam pads for the sides
- 1 foam pad for the front
- 1 chin-strap pad
Total: 8 foam pads and 1 chin-strap pad
- Remove any old loose pads and fasteners.
- Carefully clean the areas where the new fasteners will be placed.
- Allow the surface to dry completely.
- Attach the self-adhesive fasteners in suitable positions inside the helmet.
- Place the hook-and-loop side of each pad against the fastener and press it into place.
- Try on the helmet and reposition the pads as necessary until the fit feels even and comfortable.
The foam pads have two different sides. Only one side attaches to the hook-and-loop fasteners.
This kit is intended to replace soft comfort padding. Do not alter the helmet’s hard shell or impact-absorbing structure. Always check that the helmet still fits correctly after fitting the pads.
