Description
When the old chin strap pad is worn out or no longer stays in place, there is no need to replace the entire helmet. The soft pad wraps around the chin strap and makes it more comfortable against the chin.
The pad fits chin straps with a common width of approximately 1.5–2 cm. It can be used on riding hats and cycle helmets, for example.
Open the hook-and-loop fastening, place the chin strap in the centre and fold the pad around it. Press the fastening together so that the pad stays in place.
The chin strap pad is approximately 7.5 cm long when fastened and is made from polyester. It is a compact pad designed to sit directly beneath the chin.
Position the pad so that it does not cover the buckle or interfere with adjustment of the chin strap. After fitting, check that the strap can still be tightened and fastened as normal.
