Fray Check – Stops Fabric and Cords from Fraying

Fraying edges can quickly become worse when the fabric or cord continues to be used. Fray Check is a colourless liquid that strengthens the fibres and helps prevent further fraying.

Use it on shoelaces and other cords, seams, buttonholes, jeans hems, shirt collars and cuffs. It is also suitable for sealing raw fabric edges and the edges of motifs cut from fabric.

The precision nozzle makes it easy to apply a small amount exactly where it is needed. Apply a few drops to the area you want to reinforce and allow it to dry completely.

The bottle contains 22.5 ml.

Fray Check can be used both to stop existing fraying and to help prevent it from starting. Apply a small amount to newly cut fabric edges, around buttonholes or along the edges of motifs cut from fabric.

After several washes, the effect may gradually lessen. The treatment can then be repeated.
