Has a shoe sole started to come away, or do you need to bond a rubber or leather part? This flexible super glue provides fast, strong adhesion while creating a bond that is more flexible than traditional super glue. This makes it particularly useful for materials and items that bend or move during use.
The glue is ideal for smaller shoe repairs, such as reattaching part of a sole or a loose rubber detail. It can be used to bond leather to leather, leather to rubber and rubber to rubber. It also bonds several other materials, including plastic, metal, wood and EPDM.
The bottle contains 20 ml.
- Clean the surfaces to be bonded and allow them to dry.
- Before first use, unscrew the yellow applicator. Carefully snip off only the very tip of the clear nozzle, then screw the applicator back on.
- Apply a thin layer of glue.
- Press the parts firmly together for approximately 30 seconds.
- Allow the glue to cure fully before flexing the repair or putting it under strain.
Atomlim Gul is based on cyanoacrylate, the same type of adhesive used in standard super glue. The difference is that the formulation has been modified to make the cured bond more flexible and less brittle. Flexible super glues commonly contain elastomer-like additives that help the bond cope better with small movements and bending. This makes the glue particularly suitable for shoes and components made from leather or rubber.
