ZlideOn is a zip slider that can be opened and clicked directly onto the zip. It is suitable when the old slider has broken, come off or no longer brings the zip together properly.

The pack contains five sliders in common sizes and designs for plastic and metal zips. This allows you to try which one fits best without first having to measure the zip and choose a single model.

Sizes and contents

The pack of 5 contains a combination of sliders in sizes XS, L and XL for plastic and metal zips.

• XL is often suitable for heavier zips on items such as workwear, motorcycle clothing and sleeping bags.

1. Remove the old slider
   If the old slider has already come off, move on to the next step.
   If it is still attached, carefully remove it using wire cutters or another suitable tool. Take care not to damage the zip.
2. Open ZlideOn
   ZlideOn may arrive open or closed. If it is closed, place the base against a firm surface.
   Hold the slider and pull the tab backwards until it opens.
3. Position and lock
   Place the open slider around the zip where the old one was fitted. Then fold the pull tab down until the slider locks into place.
4. Test carefully
   Move the slider a short distance and check that it runs smoothly and closes the zip.

If it feels stiff or does not close properly, do not force it forwards. Open it and try another slider.

ZlideOn replaces a broken or worn zip slider. It works when the teeth or coil of the zip are still intact.

The product does not repair missing teeth, a damaged coil or torn zip tape. In these cases, the entire zip may need to be repaired or replaced.
