Elastic Shoelaces – No More Tying

1. Thread the elastic laces through the shoes in the same way as ordinary shoelaces.
2. Put the shoes on before deciding how tight the laces should be.
3. Adjust the laces until the shoes feel comfortable and secure on your feet.
4. Walk a few steps and try taking the shoes off and putting them back on.
5. Choose how you would like to finish the laces. You can use either of the two included metal fittings or tie the laces in the traditional way.
6. Only cut the laces once you are happy with the fit. If you are using the metal fittings, trim away the excess lace and attach your chosen style. If you prefer a traditional bow, leave enough length to tie one comfortably.

Do not cut the laces until you have threaded them through the shoes, put the shoes on and checked the fit. Once cut, the laces cannot be made longer again.

How easily the shoes slip on and off depends on how tightly the laces are adjusted. For children or anyone who wants particularly easy access, it may be better to leave them slightly looser.

The laces fit many shoes with standard eyelets. The fit can vary depending on the shoe style, the number of eyelets and the way the shoe is constructed.

The metal fittings are optional. The elastic laces also work well when tied in the same way as ordinary shoelaces.

Do I have to use the metal fittings?

No. Two different styles of metal fittings are included, but they are completely optional. You can tie the elastic laces just like ordinary shoelaces instead.
