Description
Has the clasp on your necklace broken, or is it so small that it is awkward to fasten? This double-ended lobster clasp attaches between the two ends of the necklace and gives you a new clasp without the need for pliers or other tools.
The clasp has an opening lobster hook at each end. Attach one hook to the loop at one end of the necklace and the other hook to the loop on the opposite side. This allows you to replace a broken clasp without making any changes to the necklace itself.
The double clasp is also useful when the original clasp still works but is small or difficult to handle. As both ends open, you can use whichever side feels easier when putting on or taking off the necklace.
The lobster clasp is made from stainless steel and has a silver-coloured finish.
- Place the necklace on a flat surface and locate the loops or attachment points at both ends.
- Check that the attachment points are large enough for the hooks on the lobster clasp.
- Open the hook at one end of the clasp and attach it to one end of the necklace.
- Open the hook at the other end and attach it to the opposite end of the necklace.
- Check that both hooks have closed completely.
- Try opening and closing the necklace and use whichever side feels easiest to handle.

The lobster clasp can be attached without tools as long as the necklace has a suitable loop or attachment point at each end.
The clasp sits between the ends of the necklace and may therefore make the necklace slightly longer.
Always check that both hooks have closed fully before wearing the necklace.
