Cedarwood is traditionally used for clothes storage because its scent may discourage moths and some other insects. The rings work best as a preventive addition to a clean wardrobe that is checked regularly.
The pack contains 6 cedarwood rings. Each ring measures 40 mm in diameter and can easily be slipped over the hook of a clothes hanger.

Use several rings in larger wardrobes or storage spaces and distribute them in different places among the textiles.
- Slip the rings over the hooks of clothes hangers or place them in a drawer or wardrobe.
- Distribute the rings among the clothing rather than placing them all in one location.
- Check the wardrobe and textiles regularly for signs of moths or other pests.
- Gently sand the surface when the cedar scent has faded.
- Wipe away any sanding dust before returning the rings to the wardrobe.
You can also apply a small amount of cedar oil intended for cedarwood to strengthen the scent.
The cedar rings are a preventive addition and do not guarantee that moths or other insects will stay away. If an infestation is found, the wardrobe and textiles need to be cleaned and treated appropriately.
Do not place freshly oiled or sanded rings directly against delicate, pale or sensitive fabrics. Cedarwood and cedar oil may occasionally leave marks.
The cedar scent naturally fades over time. Lightly sanding the surface helps release more of the wood’s scent.
