Caps for Silicone Cartridges – Save the Rest for Later

There is often material left in the cartridge when a job is finished. These caps let you seal the opening and save the remaining contents for another occasion instead of letting them go to waste.

Remove the nozzle, wipe around the threaded cartridge opening and screw the cap directly onto the cartridge. The cap helps protect the contents from air and drying out, allowing them to remain usable for longer.

The caps fit threaded standard 300 ml cartridges containing products such as silicone, sealant or adhesive. They are made from rigid plastic and have a wide, easy-grip shape that makes them simple to fit and remove.

Placing a screw in the nozzle can work as a temporary seal, but the screw needs to be the correct size. A screw that is too narrow may sit loosely, while one that is too large may stretch or damage the plastic nozzle. It can also become difficult to remove once the material has cured.

With these caps, you remove the nozzle and seal the cartridge directly at its threaded opening. There is no need to find a suitable screw, and you avoid the risk of damaging the nozzle when sealing the cartridge.

How long the contents remain usable depends on the product inside the cartridge and how it is stored.
