Description
Need to add an extra hole to a belt, strap or piece of heavy fabric? This handheld hole punch creates round holes in items such as belts, bag straps, curtains, some tarpaulins, leather details and a variety of craft projects.
As you press the handle down, the hollow tip rotates and cuts away the material where the hole is required. The cut-out piece is collected inside the tip, leaving a clear hole all the way through the material.
The wooden handle provides a secure grip and makes it easy to press the tool straight down.
The hole punch comes with six interchangeable tips:
- 1.5 mm
- 2 mm
- 2.5 mm
- 3 mm
- 3.5 mm
- 4 mm
The smaller sizes are useful for making a smaller hole in a narrow strap or leather detail. The larger tips are suitable for belts, heavier straps, curtains and a variety of craft projects.
- Mark where you want to position the hole.
- Attach the tip in the required size and check that it is securely fitted.
- Lay the material flat on a stable surface that can withstand marks.
- Position the tip directly over the mark.
- Press the handle down until the tip has passed through the material.
- Remove cut-out pieces of material from the tip when required.
